Cuttings take up space! When you decide to start, plan ahead for where you’ll store them until it’s safe to plant them outside. Two key factors in setting up a space for cuttings are providing plenty of light and maintaining cool temperatures. The warmth used to encourage rooting is too high for long-term growth. If you need to keep your cuttings for a while before planting, keeping them in a cool, well-lit environment will help prevent legginess.
